Youth & Family

We are blessed to have a strong youth program that is supported by the people of our congregation, by many dedicated family members, and by a fantastic Youth and Family Director. If you have children of any age, or if you know of a child that could benefit from being connected with a nurturing and caring community of faith, then check out what's going on at Shepherd of the Lakes.

Sunday School

Sunday School meets at 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. almost every week with the exception of certain holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving weekend. Our program is designed for those 3-years-old to 10-years-old (5th grade). Middle and High School students are encouraged to assist with teaching. Parents are welcome to sit right outside the children's classrooms for their own discussions of how the Bible relates to our daily lives. If you are interested in learning more, please contact our Youth and Family Director, Kellie Stasilowicz, at kellie@shepherdlakes.org

We offer a Confirmation/Catechism Ministry for those in Middle School and older (beginning with Grade 6). Confirmation classes meet on most Sunday evenings of the school year from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please contact Kellie at kellie@shepherdlakes.org if you have any questions.

High School

Our high school youth believe in local and global mission. They believe in putting feet to their prayers for this world to be a better place. They often travel to far away destinations, and other times they seek to actively improve the communties in which we locally live. If you are interested in getting involved in our high school activities, or simply want to learn more for yourself, a family member, or a friend, contact Kellie at kellie@shepherdlakes.org.

A growing number of 20-somethings, people between 20 and 29 years of age, gather every week for fun, friendship, and support. They ask honest questions about life today and help each other discover the joys and wonders that people can find on an authentic faith journey.
