Pastor Judd Delancey

Pastor Judd Delancey came to serve at Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in 2018. He loves to talk about God's gift of grace found in the cross and resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord. Pastor Judd is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary at Capital University in Columbus Ohio where he and his family originate (Yes, he still roots for the Buckeyes, but we don't hold that against him). Before pursuing a call into ministry, he spent twenty years as a truck driver, delivering gasoline for Englefield Oil Co.

He and his wife, Jessica, have three children, and three grandchildren which bring joy and laughter to their lives, along with a few grey hairs. As a family they enjoy fishing and all things water related, so the move to Michigan has been a blessing as they explore the beauty of God's creation in the Lakes Area.

Director of Worship and Music Ministries: Inger Oswald

Inger began serving at SOTL as Director of Worship and Music Ministry in the summer of 2019.  She comes with a background in vocal music education, graduating from Western Michigan University. She has fulfilled a long-time dream by receiving a Master of Arts in Church Music from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio in 2019.  Inger and her very supportive husband Jon of seventeen years live in Westland.  With God’s help, Inger looks forward each week to helping people experience the Lord in new and fresh ways, inspiring a closer and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage involvement in worship and music ministry with all of God’s children, regardless of age.  “I feel so incredibly blessed to be serving at Shepherd of the Lakes, not only at this point in the life of the church, but in my own life as well.”
